I’ve also been there, trapped in the paralyzing feelings of overwhelm and shame. Weighing over 200 lbs and not knowing where to start.

I’ll never forget shopping at Old Navy - me, a diehard fashion lover, shopping at Old Navy because I didn’t want to buy nice clothes in the size I was wearing.
Grabbing a couple pairs of jeans and a few sweaters, I kept telling myself, “These are just to hold me over until I lose the weight.”
As a financial advisor at the time, one of my clients had just been denied life insurance because he was 5’8” and 290 lbs with prediabetes, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol.
And he was in his early 30s, just like me.
*gulp*
He couldn’t get life insurance because the company he applied with thought he was going to die.
I felt like I was looking in the mirror and knew that it was time for a change.
I didn’t have anyone to guide me so I just started making small changes. When I lost a few pounds and started feeling more confident I started taking spin classes because I could ride in the dark and no one knew if I didn’t have a lot of resistance on the bike but I could still get a great workout.
Two years later, I lost 70+ pounds slowly adopting a plant based diet.
And I knew I wanted to help moms - just like you - do the same. (check out my certifications below)
Nothing fires me up more than helping other moms thrive.

It’s time to ditch the messy bun and regain your energy and health. (You can keep the messy bun when your cleaning the dog poop your daughter tracked in from outside or other disasters that happen at the most inopportune times. )
Get super healthy and have boundless energy, heal your broken relationship with food, and be the strongest you have ever been in your life.

Besides my own journey, going back to school and getting a degree in Exercise & Health Science, and personally training with the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies, my superpower is revamping patterns in mom’s behavioral nutrition (hint: you don’t need to eat your bodyweight in chicken) and keeping it simple.
When I grow up, I want to be as strong and athletic as Serena, Hannah, and Madonna- all badass examples of what’s possible with
plant based nutrition.

I’m a student for life
Studying flute, oboe, saxophone, tarot, estate planning, and during a particularly fun time, international business. Most recently though, I’ve dedicated my efforts to nutrition and behavior change.

Two elected town positions, chair of my church ministry, and I make a mean playdough/read/bring snacks to my daughter’s Pre-K. Hint: I didn’t use to have enough energy for all of this but now - I’m all Elle Woods: “What, like it’s hard?”
If I could only listen to one artist for the rest of my life it would be...
Cher. Madonna. Bon Jovi. No. Maroon 5. Wait, I’m starting to panic. Guns N Roses. Adele. Stopppp! I can’t pick. It’s too much pressure.
